Katrina Di Marco commenced as G20 Finance Deputy and First Assistant Secretary of the International Economics in June of 2023 with responsibility for Treasury’s engagement with international financial institutions, multilateral forums including G20 and APEC, relationships with key bilateral partners and Treasury’s overseas post network. Prior to this she was First Assistant Secretary of the Tax Analysis Division in the Treasury.
Katrina joined the then Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources as a graduate in 2005. From 2008 she worked in the Treasury in both the Budget Policy Division and the Macroeconomic Conditions Division. In 2014 she undertook a secondment to BHP Billiton as a Senior Economist based in Singapore. From 2015 to 2018 she was the Director of Policy and Senior Adviser (Economic) in the Office of the Prime Minister, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP. From 2018 to 2019 she worked in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
Katrina holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong.
